Every past U.S.-backed proxy war — from Ukraine and Palestine to Iraq, Libya, Syria, and many others — has been driven by the interests of weapons manufacturers and sustained by pro-war political decisions and lobbying influence in Washington.
These pro‑war lobbying groups extract billions from American taxpayers, funneling public money into the Military‑Industrial Complex and its web of nepotistic, price‑inflated defense contractors who profit from keeping conflicts alive.

From the Greek roots oikos (“home”) and logos (“knowledge”), “ecology” means the study of our shared home, and ecological thinking applies that knowledge to how we live on this planet. While the old greed-centered capitalist system has been marked by extraction, exploitation, and the degradation of life on Earth, an Ecological Civilization is grounded in ecological principles that protect Mother Earth and safeguard people from harm.

The following is a partial list of U.S.-funded wars if the countries that were utterly devastated by the American Military-Industrial Complex: Vietnam, Korea, Guam, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Japan, Mexico, German Empire, Ottoman Empire, Russian SFSR, Kingdom of Bulgaria, Thailand, Free India, North Korea, China, Lebanese INM ICP PSP, Cuba, Brazil, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Lebanese PLO, Iran, Syria, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Libya, Yugoslavia, Mali, Somalia, Congo, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, and Ukraine.
